王奇生 Wang Qisheng, a former researcher at the Second Historical Archives of China and at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), is Professor of Modern History at Peking University. His major areas of expertise are the political history of the Republic of China and the history of KMT and CCP. He published extensively on the history of Chinese Revolution in the 20^th Century. He is author of books including: Party Members, Party Power and Party Struggle – the KMT Organization in 1924-1929 (2010) and Revolution and Counter-Revolution: Republican Politics in Social-Cultural Scope (2010) and KMT-PCC Cooperation in the National Revolution, 1924-197 (2006).
