Dr. LIANG Yabin is currently associate professor of the Institute for International Strategic
Studies, Party School of the Central Committee of the C.P.C. He earned his Ph.D. in International
Relations from Peking University (2011). Liang’s other professional activities include: visiting
student at Cornell University (from Sept. 2009 to Sept. 2010), sponsored by the China Scholarship
Council; short term training at Scuola Superiore dell’Economia e delle Finanze (Senior School of
Economics and Finance, Italy), sponsored by the Italian Government (2012);
member of the Voluntary Visitor Program of the United States Department of State (2012).
His areas of research and teaching specialization include international politics, Sino-
U.S. Relations, Smart Weapons and International Relations. He is the author of The Secret of
Hegemony: Financial Logic Behind American Power (Xinhua Press 2012).
He has also published dozens of articles in Chinese journals.
