Abstract

For the past two decades, IPCC’s Working Group II has developed assessments of climate change impacts, adaptation, and vulnerability. As Coordinating Lead Author of WGII Report, Prof. Lin Erda will introduce the Iatest IPCC WGII report titled Climate Change 2014: Impacts, Adaptation, and Vulnerability, focuses on the impacts of climate change to date, the future risks from a changing climate, and the opportunities for effective action to reduce risks. Prof. Lin and Dr. ZHU will give full assessment of the potential impacts of climate change on China and potential implications in future. At the end of the report, it also finds that smart actions are able to decrease risks from a changing climate.
