Abstract
China has been growing very fast in the past decade through the dual engines mechanism of export and real estate. However, there are signs of economic slowdown and serious structural balances of Chinese economy. What is the mechanism behind China’s growth model and what has happened after the 2008 world financial crisis? What kind of reforms are needed for China to sustain its growth and are these reforms ever possible? Will urbanization be China’s next growth engine?
